  • Returns and Refunds Policy for SEJ:

At SEJ, we strive to provide excellent products and services to our valued customers. We understand that sometimes you may need to return or exchange a product, and we want to make that process as smooth as possible. Please read our Returns and Refunds Policy below for detailed information on how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.

  • General Return and Exchange Policy:

All products (except furniture and customised items) are eligible for return or exchange, provided they are in their original condition, unopened, and unused.

For returns due to manufacturing defects, we accept product returns with a full refund. Proof of purchase will be required, and you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the product. Please provide us with clear evidence of the defect, such as photographs.

For exchanges or returns unrelated to product quality, such as a change of mind, you may return or exchange the item within 14 days of receiving it. Please note that the customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges of Rs 300, and the item must be in its original condition and unused.

Return and exchange services are applicable to local orders only. International orders will be considered for exchange or return only if the delivered item is faulty.

  •  Furniture Exchange and Return Policy:

We accept furniture returns with a full refund in the case of any issue with product quality. Please notify us within 14 days of receiving the furniture and provide evidence of the defect, such as photographs.

If you wish to return a baby cot furniture item within 14 days of delivery. The value will be determined upon receipt of the item and inspection of its usage. Please provide proof of purchase and the date of purchase for such returns.

Shipping charges for furniture exchanges will be paid by the customer and can be adjusted from the exchange value.

  • Sale Items:

Sale items are generally not eligible for exchange or return, except in cases where the item delivered is incorrect or has a manufacturing defect. Please ensure the item is unused, in its original condition, and contact us with proof of purchase and evidence of the defect.

  • Customized Items:

Customized items, which are not available on our website and are made on order, have a separate returns and refunds policy. Please contact our customer support team for more information regarding returns and exchanges for customized items.

  • Shipping Charges:

SEJ provides free pick-up and delivery for orders in cases where we have shipped a wrong order or the items have any manufacturing defects.

If you wish to exchange a product for another, you will be responsible for the pick-up and delivery charges of the exchanged item. The specific shipping charges will be communicated to you by our customer support team.

  • Order Cancellations: 

You can cancel your order at any time before it has been processed and shipped. Once the order has been shipped, you will not be able to cancel it. An email and SMS notification will be sent to you upon order shipment, after which our return and exchange policy will be applicable.

SEJ Online reserves the right to cancel an order for any reason, such as if the item is out of stock, there is a price error, or if the payment made through the card has been declined.

  • Late or Missing Refunds:

We understand that receiving your refund in a timely manner is important to you. We strive to process refunds as quickly as possible once your refund request is approved. However, if you haven't received your refund yet, please follow the steps below:

  1. Check your bank account: Start by checking your bank account again to ensure that the refund has not been credited. Sometimes it may take a few days for the refund to be officially posted.
  2. Contact your credit card company: If you paid for the order using a credit card, contact your credit card company. It can take some time for the refund to be processed and reflected on your credit card statement. 
  3. Contact your bank: If you have completed the above steps and still have    not received your refund, we recommend reaching out to your bank.There  might be a processing delay on their end before the refund is posted to  your account.

    Please note that different banks and credit card companies have varying processing times, and it can take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your statement.

    If you have completed all of the above steps and have not received your refund, please contact our customer support team. We will investigate the matter and assist you in resolving the issue.

     

    • Questions and Additional Information:

     

    1. Can I change the shipping address if I entered it incorrectly?

    If you realise that you have entered an incorrect shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible. While we cannot guarantee that we will be able to change the address, we will do our best to assist you. Please note that if your order has already entered the shipping process, we may not be able to make any changes.

     2. Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel an order once it has been processed and/or shipped. If you cancel your order before it has been processed and/or shipped, a 15% cancellation fee will be assessed to cover restocking fees and charges assessed to us by credit card companies.

     

    • Invalid Reasons for Return or Exchange:

    We kindly ask you to understand that certain reasons for return or exchange cannot be honoured. These include:

    1. Buyer no longer wants the items: Please ensure that you are fully committed to purchasing the items before submitting an order. Once an order is placed, it enters into a legally binding contract, and we are unable to cancel or refund the items based on changed preferences.
    2. Buyer found items cheaper elsewhere: We encourage buyers to carefully consider their purchasing decisions and be confident in paying the listed prices before placing an order. Once an order is submitted, it constitutes a legally binding contract, and we are unable to cancel or refund the items based on finding cheaper alternatives.
